Del Mar Racetrack

If horse racing is something you're interested in, Del Mar Racetrack is the place to go! Where the turf meets the surf, Del Mar Racetrack is located 17.5 miles north of the condo. Built by Bing Crosby, actor Pat O'Brien, Jimmy Durante, Charles S. Howard and Oliver Hardy, this famous racetrack is an exciting place to go to for a couple hours or for the entire day. It has live horse races during the summer in July- August and again in November-early December. Place your bet on your favorite horses and enjoy some great food and drink! There are plenty of dining options to choose from. Choose burgers and fries, sandwiches, pizza and more at the many concession stands. If sit down dining is what you prefer, they have some great restaurants as well! Enjoy your favorite cocktail as you watch the beautiful thoroughbreds. You are sure to have a great time!
